My friends son spent 17 days on a ventilator in a coma, aged 43, only recently came off onto a cpap, then oxygen, very disoriented until Thursday when he became very distressed, they did an MRI under sedation and he has a vascular mass, I just can’t believe he isn’t seeing a neurologist till Tuesday. He has to have a nurse with him 24 hours. This sounds very much like a stroke from reading the article. My friend is fraught as you can imagine, She can’t visit him, although divorced, he has two young daughters. We are all so concerned every day.. We had thought he was making a tiny improvement. This virus is so scary. Xx

Thank you for your concern, all we can do is hope. The hospital staff have been wonderful, I should have mentioned he has type one diabetes. X
