I've just had a phone call from Rheumatology asking about my RA, meds, if its controlled, and other conditions. The conclusion- I should be shielding for 12 weeks!!! I politely thanked her and told her that I'd already had a similar conversation with my GP,followed up with a letter. She told me I would be getting a letter from Rheumatology as well. What a waste of time and resources. It's good to know that they are finally giving advice- but there's clearly been a lack of communication. On the down side- she said that it might have to be longer than 12 weeks ( thus reinforcing what I heard on the news.)
Hairdressing scissors and hair dye anyone????
I mustn't be flippant- after all, I'm keeping safe.

Glad you are keeping safe and have got the letters to confirm what you are no doubt doing anyway. Everything is so up in the area and there is so much confusion, lack of communication and it is certainly a bit of a postcode lottery as to who where and when things are happening or not happening with our health. So keep doing what you are doing and keep safe and keep your sense of humour too.....oh and I think we will all be in need of a jolly good haircut, never mind the hair dye by the time things change!! Take care
