Hi all hope you are all keeping in good health and safe .

My imraldi is very painful to inject in my leg so last time I used my stomach which was a little less painful , so my question is can I take it out of fridge in the morning and take it later the same day say around 15 hrs later ? I just want to see if it stays at room temperature it will be less painful.

Thanks

I do with with Enbrel. I find that if it is just out of the fridge for the recommended 30 minutes it stings.

Yea stings is a understatement I actually didn’t administer the drug four weeks ago I pulled it out before I could complete it because of the pain . Even when they inject steroids into my joints it doesn’t hurt that much .

Enbrel? Have you tried using an ice pack first?

Good thinking

I take it out in the morning and use it mid afternoon. I also pop it under my arm pit for 15 mins before I use it

Sorry for the delay in answering. I take my Imraldi out of the fridge about 4pm and give it around 9pm so average about 5 hours. About 20/30 minutes before giving the injection I apply an ice pack(wrapped in cloth) to the area I am going to inject, this just helps to numb the area to make it less painful. Hope this helps💜xx
