If you are young, and just on MTX with no other diseases it is possible that you will have been assessed as low risk. But you can make your own decision. When you say you’ve been really bad does that mean you have high inflammation markers and active disease? And do you feel fragile? If so perhaps you should be more cautious than is advised.

Im 31 on mxt hydroxychlouriquine and baricitinib. Well in october my fingers on my right hand started to curl over and wouldnt un curl somedays so i had to push my appointment with my consultant months in advance to when i was due i got sent for a ultrasound and he thought it was something to do with my deformity the lady that did my scan had to call him in within minutes because she wasnt happy with how bad they was it turned out i was as bad as i had been saying for month i had very high inflammatory in both hands and wrists. They put on one of my letters they sent to my gp explaining it all and what was going to happen and on the DAS score on the time of my scan ( 16th jan) was 5.18 so high disease activity. They gave me a steroid jab at the time to keep me going until i got put on baricitnib which worked wonders but she did say its only a temporary thing i wasnt to asume that because that worked wonders i was now under control. Only been on baricitinib for 2 weeks so im guessing i still wont be classed as fully under control yet

Yes, be cautious. I hope you are not at work.

No they have shut for a few weeks thats why i asked my nurse what i fall under because mine are the type of company that will open as soon as they can so i wanted to make sure id be taking the right precautions for me. Im being careful anyway as i aint silly i think i was thinking id be under the high risk with how bad i have been lately

I would tell your GPs that you are concerned, and you don’t think the assessment was right and are worried about being forced back to work with active disease and on 2 immune suppressing drugs.
