Hi there, I have inflammatory arthritis, I’m taking Sulfasalazine & hydroxychloroquine. I work at the Royal Mail, should I be self isolating, not sure whether I’m on the high risk category, any advice please, thank you.

Hi, you only need to self isolate if you have the Corona virus symptoms or have come into contact with someone that has symptoms, but we all need to socially distance ourselves at the moment. I'm on hydroxychloroquine and don't consider myself high risk as I don't have any other health conditions, but I am being cautious and sensible. I hope your employer has given you some guidelines?
👍
I’m on Sulphasalazine. I’m 67 so probably quite a bit older than you. I had asthma for 40 years of my life as well so I’ve decided to self isolate. and get food ordered. Our immune systems aren’t good and I think sulphasalazine weakens our immune system too.
I would wear latex gloves and use hand sanitizer. If you can get a mask I’d wear one at work too. Better safe than sorry.
Take care.
