Today especially we need to understand why vit d is so essential in preventing the complications of the Corona virus in our situation.

That’s reassuring for those who take vitamin D and may encourage others

I have taken Vit d3 for several years but I have COPD so I wouldn't hold out much hope of not contracting a virus.

More a question of being better prepared for the complications of the virus like the respiratory problems

I hope that is true! I take Vit D3 with K2, boron, mg and zinc in one capsule.

And I’m getting Vit C too. 🙂

Good idea with vit C too. But take enough. These times 2000mg daily is enough.

Thank you. I noticed the Chinese use 12,000mg by IV for moderate COVID-19 cases.

I reckon starting with 1000mg tablet will suffice to see if tolerable by gut. Then increase. I also have a good amount in my usual diet.

Brilliant thank you. I'm on prescribed Vit D currently and I'm going to put my husband on supplements straight away as he has COPD and is very vulnerable to respiratory infection and viruses.

Interestingly I'm on Hydroxychloroquine for RD and note this has been used in Japan to slow down the acquired immune response to Coronavirus which seems to overwhelm the lungs in bad cases causing the major problems.
