Should I come home?

I flew from UK to Dallas on Wednesday, to visit with my brother. Feeling so nervous now. Really just want to get on a plane home and put myself in isolation. I mean NOW

Oh dear. I can understand your anxiety but I don't know if there is a right answer. Make a list of pros and cons based on medical and social distancing needs. Where is best/ easiest to meet these needs. Check your insurance will cover coronavirus as some companies are now not doing so.

If you decide to travel back then sooner rather than later might be advisable as the next few weeks are predicted to become tricky over here, so avoiding public transport would be advisable. Let alone risk of flight cancellations. We are in such uncharted territory than no advice is going to be a guarentee. You must do what your 'sensible' gut says over any rushed decisions clouded with panic.

Personally I'd choose to be in the UK, with the NHS, flawed as it is, rather than Trumps America.

Yup, apologies to our US friends on here, but America is the absolutely last place I’d want to be. At least leaders in all the other countries in the world are trying to act responsibly even if Trump being is completely useless.

I think I would rather be at home. I agree with the other comments on here wholeheartedly.

I think in your position I'd want to come back while it is still possible to fly. As others have already said, should you be unlucky enough to become stranded in the US and become poorly the travel insurance company could be a bit sticky about paying out. Reading all the terms and conditions of your policy would a good first step followed by contacting your carrier for their advice. Wishing you well

I would try and enjoy your stay with your brother. If things escalate where you have to fly home then do quick.Dont let this spoil the time you have with your loved ones.
