I've noticed with different meds (I have been on in the past) that my brain is not as sharp. When I've said this to my doctor she seem puzzled. I thought RA caused the fuzz - so the drug wasn't helping. Doc seems to think it's a side affect of the drug.

join the club . i have worked with some of my collegues for 15 years and i can all of a sudeen have a brain freeze about their name . we all laugh it off , i did speak to my GP about it and didnt seems concerned if you are worried talk to someone about it
I tend to do those kind of things as well but I am in my sixties and lots of people of my age are like that.
However, I have a friend of my age who is worrying me as she seems to have got very bad. She can't even follow a film or a TV programme and can't manage to read a book because she says she can't remember one page to the next. She is still driving and I wonder if she is safe.
I encouraged her to visit her doctor about it last year and he said it is all a result of fibromyalgia and OA, but I have never heard of anyone having this as badly as she does. I feel that her doctor was just fobbing her off and he didn't do any tests on her either. I do hope that it isn't dementia.
I take methotrexate... I’m 29... and for the couple days after... my mind does seem a little fuzzy... I forget things and it can take allot of concentration to pluck the info I need out my mind...
therefore I do feel it’s the meds rather than the RA...
I actually thought I was losing my mind on methotrexate. It did not work well for me at all. My brain function went back to almost normal when I stopped taking it.
I'm Sorry you're so young and dealing with RA! Not fair
