I just don’t know where to put them! Pain heavy and not part of me anymore. The swelling is awful. I just don’t know what to do anymore

I'm sorry to hear this. Have you been in touch with your rheumatology team ? They should know that you are in a lot of pain and hopefully be able to help you.

In the meantime try heat / ice , perhaps an epson salt bath to help sooth you. Also some pain killers or NSAIDs might take the edge off things.

But do ask for help soon.

Hi chachaa700. Poor you, it sounds awful. I agree with MMrr re ice/heat etc and ringing the Rheumatology team, they may give you a steroid injection to calm the flare. How miserable for you. I hope you feel better very very soon. x

Yes had this to... on Humira the last 18 months with no more flares ... go to your Rheumy

Thanks everyone I have to wait a month for possible next infusion! TIL then pain control not good😥

Oh I'm so sorry. Have anyone mentioned Fibromyalgia to you. I've got Rheumatoid Arthritis ,Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis. But I also have Fibromyalgia and the pain is sometimes unbearable. I've had Steroid injections but they were useless.

I use wheat bags, you can warm them up

in the microwave or put one in the Freezer. I take a cold one to bed with me,

because my hands get so hot,swollen and painful. They really do help.

Yes wheat bags are really helpful I too have RA and Fibromyalgia and the usual collection of troubles that come along with them! M x

Hi Marie, do you get days when you

feel as though you just can't handle it anymore. I know that I've got a lot of serious health issues. But I think that the Fibromyalgia has to be the worst pain ever. 😭😢.Gjkas

Yes. Sometimes I’m unsure which pain is which between the RA, fibro and now Sciatica too.
