This may seem like a bizarre question but has anyone ever experienced issues with sensation and skin
For around a week now there is a area of my face that feels different not painful just a bit numb and tingly if I touch it with my hand it feels different there is nothing visibly wrong
Could this be linked to ra or something different entirely? Xx

I haven’t the answer but I get this now and again . I have had tests and an mri. It’s still a mystery. I have noticed when my disease is active I get it and I get it in my feet as well 🤷♀️🤷♀️
I think it is another little symptom of RA because I get it too. It comes and goes like a flare and only affects a smallish area sometimes on my arms or legs but once on my cheek. It doesn't fall into the Synovial fluid RA pattern, but if you are seropositive the chances are greater that other organs can be affected and skin is another organ... Hey ho.
I also have experienced a similar thing on my head and internally, like a small area of something inside is flaring... Very weird.
I get a feeling when lay down in bed, never at any other time, it is like an electricity charge running through my body and I feel hot just for a minute. Doctors just dismiss it, one doctor said it is a hot flash, I am 73 so found that strange. I think it may be the meds that I take at night. Amitriptyline, Pravastatin, Aspirin and Lisiniprol.
