Spots and Skin Discolorations

This is a picture of a spot I noticed yesterday on my back. I've gotten different areas of discoloration and rashes at various times. Dermatologist saw one spot and said it wasn't psoriasis. When I touch this one a tiny area on the side feels slightly raised. At this point docs are making nothing of my symptoms. Tests negative. I was told the skin issues had nothing to do with RA, PR or any other autoimmune disorder. This was a rheumy. I can't believe it's a coincidence. Does anyone else get this kind of thing or have any ideas for me?

Rashes and skin problems can be hard to diagnose - back to a dermatologist is the best advice in my opinion!

Mine are mostly pinky red as well. Sometimes I'll get tiny bruise like spots.

Sulphasan caused skin rashes , lumps and bumps after one month. I was taken of the meds immediately due to the skin problem.

Ask if you can stop meds and see if it goes away ?

I'm in limbo right now. 2Rheumy's don't seem to be concerned. All my blood tests always normal. Both say possible PR, but as far as follow up...They don't ask me to come back. I'm not on any meds. Next step is GP when I can get in. If this red spot doesn't go away soon I'll go back to my dermatologist. Frustrating.

I was blaming my prednisolone for the spots but you're not on any meds - maybe just coincidence?

Who knows? It seems possible it could be an autoimmune type symptom too. Confusing
