New pal
Gorgeous!!! Awww
Gorgeous... I have a greyhound I got 10 months ago can’t he without her now 😁 the days are not so long when it’s a bad day when you have company
Aaah J1707 greyhounds are so lovely. Don't know if yours is a rescue but they are the most sweet tempered creatures ever.
Mines an ex racer.. all my family and friends were not fans of greyhounds and tried to talk me out of it ( including the hubby) but they have all changed their tune. My husband said he will only have greyhounds now. She is so funny she makes us laugh everyday . We can let her off the lead and she plays with other dogs and love to chase a ball and bring it back and she gives the best kisses. They are the perfect pet
They are so lovely. As I said to rab my Poppy passed away last week and I've been floundering around ever since. She was 11 going on 12 when she died and I rescued her when she was 3. She was an ex racer and was in a sorry state when I got her. God knows where she had been but she had a huge gash at the side of her neck that the rescue centre vet had stitched up. Very skinny but after some TLC she was a fine dog and getting her was the best thing I did. She was as daft as a brush and used to bound about with excitement when we went out for a walk. So much so that a little girl we passed by said to her mum "Hey mum did you see that kangaroo on a lead!!! (Poppy was a blue grey colour). Lol. I miss her very much.
🥺🥺 I’m sorry it can’t be easy you must feel lost with out her but she was obviously well loved so many aren’t. If This biologic works my husband and I are going to Volunteer as greyhound walkers. Hubby in a panic in case I bring another home 🤣🤣 .. thinking of you xx 🌈
🤣 What a good idea. I got Poppy from Manchester Dogs Home but I daren't go near the place just yet. Can't think of getting another dog just yet because I'm still mourning at the moment. If you're anything like me though your husband is probably right and you will end up with your own rescue centre 🤣😂🤣
How good of you
That made me laugh 😂 Love greyhounds too, beautiful nature and they don't need alot of exercise I believe. I've never had one but definitely ( kangaroos) with big hearts!
You are so right Shalf. People think that because they run fast they need loads of exercise but it's just the opposite. They are happy with short walks 3 or 4 times a day and the rest of the time they are quite happy to lie on their bed and sleep. Except when it's time for dinner and then they are right behind you waiting at the kitchen door 🤣. A few zoomies round the back garden and that's it. 😁 Lovely!
What a cutie. I’m sure he'll do all you said he will & more. In our 35 years of marriage we've never been without a dog so can't imagine life without one.🐶
That's great rab. Dogs are good for the soul. They never judge, rarely complain and are always there for you. I have been in bits since my beautiful greyhound passed away last week. I rescued her when she was 3, nursed her back to health and she has been my constant companion and friend ever since. They give you a reason to get up and get out and are happy to sit by your side the rest of the time. I will miss her greatly. She was my shadow. Enjoy your little Rudi 😍🐶
I’m sure she was your best friend who watched over you and still is ❤️
So sorry I'm sure your girl will be playing with her friends over the rainbow bridge. Take care x
I'm so sorry Linda. They make such a big place in your heart & leave one even bigger when they go. As we help them heal from the poor care they knew I swear they're that much more loyal & loving. I'm sure once you feel ready you'll be able to share your love again & lovely memories of Poppy will remain forever. x🤗
Thanks NMH. I will get there at some point. She was my special girlie and she knew it. She could wrap me round her little claw. We gave her a good home and lots of love but she gave us so much more in return. Xx
soooo jealous, miss mine soooo much, ENJOY!! :) x
So cute. Little teddy bear. Dogs give you a reason to go outside. I had my two for 16 and 13yrs. I’m thinking of getting a small dog when I move home
❤️❤️❤️ what a cutie x
I want him 😊 He's gorgeous. We always had English Springers (when we were fit). Beautiful dogs obedient, eager to please and loyal too. Enjoy your lovely friend. Wish we were fit enough to have another.
Now that's not Rudi from Hearts Rab is it?
He's a wee ball of fur just now so difficult to see the breed. Is he Maltese by any chance? Dogs are the best in the world in my humble opinion
He’s a cross between a shitzu and a Maltese, and yes named after the famous Rudi Skacel xxx
Cute award for this week goes to the dog.
