Wow it took over and I have been struggling to keep it under control ever since, it now rules my daily life and restricts me badlly, but I will keep smiling as I will not let this condition win.

It`s horrible not knowing from day to day if your going to have pain to day or to night or all the time.

When people see me just because my leg or arm is not in plaster they think i am ok. Sorry am not I am sure many of you feel the same.

Hello swellguy

Welcome to the forum. I've not been here long but I've been made to feel very welcome. :)

Welcome to the gang, Swellguy! Got an idea for you: Sounds like you are taking many MTX tablets? If so, and not doing so well, ask your Rheumy about using the injectable form. It goes more directly into the body and circulatory system, bypassing the digestive system, usually we get much better results with the injectable, without the sicky side-effects.

Could be worth a try. Are you taking any other anti-inflammatory drugs?

All the best, Loret

welcome and keep up the fight x

thanks for the welcome and advise, Loret I do take MTX tablets but don't suffer any side effects (as yet) so will save that option for another day.
