Iv had my date 1st of February for my surgery? Iv been to pre-op and they have to cancel my op due to high cholesterol and very high blood pressure and low iron so Iv had a iron drip today and doctors Monday to start on blood pressure tablets? Iv never had high blood pressure or cholesterol since Iv started on tofacitinib so Iv stopped taking them these arthritis tablets I think they are very dangerous xx

Did they say it was the tofacitinib that has caused it Beth?

Look up the common side affects high blood pressure and cholesterol with these tablets the pre- op nurse said to stop them never had high blood pressure and cholesterol before I started the tablets c

I think it is all down to a drug suiting you as I have been on Tofacitinib for nearly two years and I don't have cholesterol or high blood pressure after trying five other RA tablets I have been the best I could have been on any medication. Good luck finding the best one for you.
