Zip fastening duvet covers at IKEA !

Hey everyone I know this post is a bit off topic but if like me you struggle with changing your duvet cover I thought I’d let you know I’ve found a zip closure duvet cover.

The good news although the zip closure isn’t right across the bottom I still found it easier to change than poppers or buttons. The pillow slips are zip fastening too. They’re very cheap and come out of the washing machine with barely a crease so no ironing (not that I ever manage that lol).

They’re called GOMBLOMMA come in grey/white and blue/white. Lovely and soft even though they’re mainly polyester it cost me £17 for a king size and a double is £13.

Great value for money and I found that they are nice and cool on your skin and don’t make me overheat like some, very soft too.

Like I said the zip fastening could be bigger but it’s at least better than any I’ve tried it’s worth the money for the pillow cases because they have a full zip.

Have a good day everyone and hope the sunshine is at least brightening your spirits.

Pleased you've posted this, I hadn't thought to! I don't have this particular design, mine are cotton, but my duvet covers & pillowcases that I've had for some time now were from Ikea in Spain & also have zips. So much easier than poppers or (the devil's own work) buttons.

I have the white and blue. lovely and cool for us people who over heat, and they always look clean and tidy on the bed.

Ooh thank you for sharing. I’d heard of this but sound great. Changing my bed is such hard work and I’ll do a anything to make it easier. If I had it my way, I’d have fresh bed sheets every day! 😂Thanks again x

No problem sheets can be washed at 60* but I don’t find it necessary to wash them at that temperature. Took less than an hour to tumble dry too so a quick turn around is possible. They look and feel great and so cheap.
