Do you have vertigo I.e.world spinning so you don't know what is up or down, or dizziness? There are so many different causes of dizziness i.e low blood pressure, anaemia, pain etc. My vertigo is due to Menieres disease (thought to be auto immune) but more often the cause of vertigo is found to be crystals in the ear canals. Worth seeing your GP. Vertigo is horrible!!!!

I have vertigo and yes it is horrible to have. I have menieres as well as tinnitus and I find travel sickness pills help it. I had a really bad one when we was on holiday and it was the scariest thing I have had to go through.xxxx

Have you seen an ENT specialist? There are many causes of vertigo.......I was referred to a physiotherapist who had a special interest in balance disturbances, and although the treatment was very unpleasant......if you can stick with it- it does help.

It hasn’t cured it 100% for me, but it is a lot less troublesome.

My grandmother has had vertigo twice over the years . Both times it’s kept her in bed all week long. When she gets it , she can’t even hold her head up, she has to lay down. She’s told me the room spins on her when it affects her. Vertigo is some nasty stuff.

I had a really nasty spell of it this summer and ended up in A & E as I was so dehydrated as I could not even sip water at one point without being sick. I hope it never comes back and send my heartfelt wishes to you as it is horrible. Always best to get it checked out,

Yes I had it recently and was told by the GP to do a manoeuvre called Epley which I found on YouTube ... it worked.

A word of warning ....you should only do the Epley manoeuvre when you have been taught how to do it by either an ENT specialist or a specialist physiotherapist.

Vertigo can be made much worse if you do it incorrectly so please do go to see somebody before you try it.

I get vertigo quite often I was referred quite a few years back and they did tilt tests etc on me (is that eplay manoeuvre) but have never got to the bottom of it.sometimes I just start to get out of bed and it starts and I just have to lie down until it eventually stops and take anti sickness tablets.

I seem to be getting new twinges and symptoms every day for about 2 weeks now and dizziness is one of them. Seems to be triggered with the position of my head: looking up after look down for example and vice versa. Doesn't make me feel sick though. Feel slightly unsteady but it passes quite quickly.
