NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 18th November 2019

3 Counties (Surrey/Hants/Berks) NRAS Group

This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

19th November - Jeannette Cameron, Rheumatology Nurse Specialist at Frimley Park Hospital will be speaking to the group about preparing for the winter months with RA.

Torbay NRAS Group

This group hold their meetings in the ground floor meeting room at Barton Baptist Church, Happaway Road, Barton, Torquay, TQ2 8HJ once every other month on a Tuesday from 7:00-9:00pm (refreshments at 7pm, speaker from 7:20pm).

19th November - Lorraine Richardson & Sarah Smale, Research nurses in Rheumatology will be updating us on Rheumatology Research in Torbay Hospital and ways in which you can get involved.

Heart of England (Solihull) NRAS Group

This NRAS group meets on a Wednesday once a month at Solihull Women’s Institute, 745 Warwick Road, Solihull, B91 3DG from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

20th November - Social meeting - early Christmas celebration

East Dorset NRAS Group

The East Dorset group meet socially for coffee from 11am at Stewarts Garden Centre, Lyndhurst Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4SA and also Haskins Garden Centre, Longham, Ferndown, Dorset BH22 9DG. Last coffee morning for 2019: Thursday November 21st at Haskins Garden Centre.

Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group

The Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group hold meetings in the outpatients waiting area by the WVS cafe at Haywood Hospital, High Lane, Burslem, ST6 7AG on the third Thursday of every other month from 7:00-8:30pm.

21st November - Laura Johnson, Community Outreach Lead from Healthwatch Stoke-on-Trent will host an informal discussion session looking at local clinical and social care services and sharing ideas, opinions and suggestions.

West Middlesex NRAS Group

This group meets at Hillingdon Baptist Church Halls, Patterson Room, Hercies Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB10 9LS. Meetings run from 2:00pm - 4:00pm quarterly on a Thursday.

21st November - Colin Morris from the Department for Work and Pensions

Yeovil Group

The Yeovil NRAS Group hold coffee mornings at Palmers Garden Centre Coffee Shop, Bernards Way, Bunford Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2FH from 10:30am-12:00pm. Final coffee morning for 2019: Thursday 21st November.

Cambridge NRAS Group

The Cambridge NRAS Group will be holding a coffee morning on Saturday 23rd November from 10:15am to 11:30am in the café at Horningsea Scotsdales Garden Centre, High Street, Horningsea, Cambs. CB25 9JG. All welcome - look for the NRAS signs on our tables.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
