Is there anyone on here who is looked after by the Rheumatology Team at Southampton General Hospital? I am looked after by QA in Portsmouth and am thinking about trying to change as my Consultant is useless.

I’m at QA too but I get on well with my consultant. Have you thought of asking to change consultant rather than hospital?

I was with Dr Shaban, when he retired I was swapped to Dr Dulay. When I see him he promises the world but then he doesn't do anything. I just wondered who else is out there who may keep to their promises and not forget. I have had Rheumatoid for 33 years and know my disease and body really well but he keeps letting me down.

Hi, I live in Southsea, on the seafront. Can’t drive at the moment, feet problems, but husband drives me when he can. The Briny or DDay cafe are both within walking distance for me, and are easy parking as I could bring a parking voucher for you,if you don’t have a blue badge

I have been going to the General hosp for the last 33 years. I'm fortunate enough to live close enough to walk there. Been on a drugs trial but consultant changed once that was finished. Have not really had any problems and was able to choose when/if I wanted my infusions. Depending on how I felt. You may well see the same rheumy consultant from Q A at the General. I’m at the QA as well. Dr Scott Russel is good. She listens and cares. The QA knocks spots off my last hospital In Berkshire. GP is very supportive as well!
