Help
Hi Paul
I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling with things, it must be incredibly difficult. Do you have a team of mental health professionals around you ( psychiatrist, CPN etc) as that would be a good place to discuss what’s going on for you and to be sign posted to additional supports.
Although this is a site for support with arthritis , there are many good sites online that offer advise and support for mental health and they are easy to find.
I do wish you the very best of luck in finding some peace and further support.
Marie
Hiya PaulErnest. I'm sorry things are bad for you. I'm not sure we're the ones who can give you the help & support you obviously need. As Marie has said we're an arthritis site & whilst mental health can go hand in hand with chronic conditions maybe more specific mental health forums would be better placed to give you advice on where you can seek medical support & self help. Maybe the members over at these two HU sites can healthunlocked.com/anxiety-... & healthunlocked.com/mental-h..., both safe places to discuss your illness.
I do hope that you find help in managing such a debilitating condition.
Hi P E
Bi polar disorder is devastating until under control.
Since you appear to have a desire to know about God it would probably help you immensely to find out what faith in Him means so here’s a link to a free booklet that explains it:
angp.org/fileadmin/angp/sit...
In addition, there are usually local Bi polar support groups available. Your mental health team will know where.
This community is for people with a horrible auto immune disease that causes enormous physical suffering so I hope you do not have that as well.
Dear PaulErnest,
My brother was bipolar and I just want to assure you that you have taken a massive step in the right direction by acknowledging your illness. Also, you are being positive by trying to find help for it. I think that is a good sign.
As Charisma has said, there may be a support group you can go to and if so, please go along and talk to people. They will understand.
Don't give up. Life brings good things as well as bad.
I wish you success and happiness.
