Hello everyone hope your day is as good as possible. My question is, I started with a sore throat last Wednesday thought it could be from dust, we spend most of our time in a very warm dry country. But by Friday I realised it was probably a head cold. In the meantime Thursday is my day for mxt injection so went ahead with it. Now I am wondering if I should have had it as feel pretty awful now like flare on top on flare! I would appreciate anyone's opinion please. Thanks.

Methotrexate is a very slow acting drug, so a single dose makes little difference in the overall scale of things. So I really wouldn’t worry about this. If you hadn’t taken it maybe you would be flaring worse?

Anyway, keep an eye on your temperature and if any signs of infection go see your doctor. But most colds go in 5 or 6 days.
