Time to Work Event | 18 September | London

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society is holding an event on 18th September in The Maynard Theatre at the King's Fund between 2pm-4:30pm.

Time to Work is aiming to bring together people with RA, their line managers and employers to raise awareness of RA and JIA. Talks will focus on schemes, such as Access to Work, which are available to help employers, the support and advice available to people with the disease from NRAS and other organisations, and how employees and employers can create an improved working environment to boost productivity and manage the disease.

At this event, NRAS will launch two videos, which are two fantastic examples of organisations that take good care of their employees with long-term conditions.

What a good idea this is!!

Will this be something that you will be rolling out in other areas??

Hi PinkLamb , it will depend on the success of the day, but we'd like to! We will be sharing the films online the same day, so you won't be missing out completely! :)

Hi Katie-NRAS

Aw OK

Thanks for that

Hi Katie

If you ever need space in Norfolk I am sure I can get free space for you at our centre - just ask- we are in a remote location but it is also a place to chill before or after in a fantastic location in a reserve. Plus as an employer they have been wonderful too with my RA.
