The constant pain in draining.

Will your GP not give you an emergency appointment for today for pain relief otherwise go to A & E

Wish I could help . Please try and see your GP cry and scream in front of him let him see how your suffering. ( my mom had throat cancer and lost her voice when the cancer returned and she was in pain medics ignored her because she couldnโ€™t be heard because she couldnโ€™t scream no one understood her pain) no joy with your GP go to AE xx

I can totally sympathise, with you. I too am in pain 24/7. it starts at around a 4, then as the day progresses, it goes to a 10 +. I cannot tolerate anything stronger than paracetamol to ease the pain. I have tried everything from Morphine patches, Tramadol, and many more. All they do, is make me feel like a Zombie and sleep constantly. I now take paracetamol, every 4 hrs, to help me get through the day. And I am lucky if I get more than 4hrs sleep at night. I cannot, help you decide, what to try, regarding pain meds, but I do think, you should phone your specialist for an emergency appointment. See your Dr, as well, they may be able to help you ease the pain in the meantime. And as others have said, shout it out, be angry if necessary toward whomever you see first. Constant pain is no joke !! Tell, them how it impacts your life on a daily basis.

Make them listen!!

Till then, just know, you are not, alone in this.. We are all here to listen.. and if you need to vent!!. Let that out too!! Have a good cry, if need be, that helps me sometimes. I tend to watch a weepy film, to get me going. It does not, stop the pain, but it does, help relieve all that anxiety and feeling of hopelessness.. Good Luck...

Same as you pain all the time never slept last night will only give me paracetamol and it doesnโ€™t touch it. There are no magical painkillers. Hope you get some answers. Take care

I take paracetamol, codeine, tramadol(slow release) Pregablin on a regular basis just to keep the pain at bay. Hugs. xxx
