Good news!! I didn't have any stroke!! I just had a fool with the letters MD after her name, misread a CT scan.

This is an update to my last post.

I was seen by 2 neurologists yesterday. The 1st neurologist was examining me and the 2nd neurologist was in the office next door reading my medical history and looking at my CT scan. I was laying on the examine table when the door burst open with the 2nd neurologist exclaiming

“I have good news, you never had any stroke!”

The 1st neurologist looked at the CT scan and then agreed, no stroke. The 2nd neurologist took out a pen and paper and drew a picture of 2 sets of 2 blood vessels. He explained to me that 50% of the human population has these 2 blood vessels with a small amount of fluid surrounding them. The other 50% has these 2 blood vessels with more fluid surrounding them. I apparently have the latter blood vessels.....So what the person with the letters MD after her name found was 2 healthy blood vessels.

Both neurologists are making a complaint to the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons. I will also be filing a complaint. I want this doctor fired.... she should be selling popcorn with my fired boss at the $2.50 Tuesday movie theater.

I left work this morning because I couldn't stop crying. Silly eh? No sign of a stroke, but yet I'm crying like I did the first couple of days after the stroke diagnosis. I just got to get ahold of my emotions. I'm normally not this emotional.

Sue you will be emotional darling to be told you had a stroke and all that went with it then to be told you hadn't would make any sane person cry. So don't feel sorry for crying it is the shock darling and let it out it will help. xxxx
