I ve had to do a bit of complaining to get my lung CT scan brought forward.
I ve been waiting since jan..and it came up with a date in July. Anyways its now set up for March 26.
I m under Barts in London...is it normal to see a rheumatologist first...( not my usual one) and then see a respirology consultant before a CT? Dunno if anyone has had similar experiences.

Wow that is a long time, at my local hospital it is the same day
Normally the ct will be done and then the results discussed with you via the consultant that arranged it. Normally rheumatology if you are under them. Otherwise they send results to Gp and they discuss with you. Make sure you chase it up after ct done otherwise you get lost in the system
I have separate rheumatology and respiratory consultants. My rheumatologist does not deal at all with my lung condition, eventhough it is caused by my autoimmune conditions. I first saw the rheumy who referred me to the respiratory who ordered the lung function tests. If you are having a full lung function test it is normal to have a wait as they are done by a different department, although July does seem a big stretch, well done you for havinf a moan and getting it brought forwards 👍
