Anyone had low blood platelets?

My blood platelets are 131 the range is usually 150 up can't remember what it is measured in or the range. So I need to be monitored so another blood test in a month. Causes range from medication, another autoimmune condition, infection, having Rheumatoid Arthritis, the C word, and more. Been on the Biologic Roactemra since September I am in the so called Medical Remission. Its been incredible to feel 'normal' what ever that is!! After the battle I have been through to get to this point, please can I have a break and let this be nothing major.........to all of you hugs, smiles and thanks for being there.

I think you are at the lower end of the normal range as measured when I have mine tested. It does seem to happen quite often. Wait for the repeat test and see what happens before getting too anxious about it!

It can happen as a reaction to infection, drugs, and a very long list of other things. But wait and see before spending too much time and energy crossing that bridge!

I've had low platelets for about three years on Roactemra, my levels never go above 130. Try not to worry too much, it's nothing major, my Rheumatologist has advised it is a side effect of this drug. Great news the drug is working so well for you, long may it last 😀
