Coming off of leflunomide

Hi I just have a quick question. have been feeling good for a long time, so my rheumy and I are going to see how I handle being off of my leflunomide. I forgot to ask when I am able to resume consuming alcohol, does anyone know? I have heard that leflunomide has a long half life so that is the reason for my concern

That’s a really great question and I don’t know the answer except to say it has an incredibly long half life. Best of luck!

But you can have a drink on it no idea why you think you can't as it does tell you its ok in normal moderation. Never stopped me !! x

You can drink alcohol while on Leflunomide. It's MTX you have to be careful with, and even then, if you don't overdo it, one drink now and then won't hurt you unless you already have liver problems.
