Benapali withheld

Hi I am on this plus methotrexate and hydroxy. After nasty virus cough and chest I stopped all injection- the brnepali makes me feel so rough I didn’t want it. I was then given antibiotics and I stopped methotrexate as well 3 weeks in total Now I an trying to get more benapali and they Lloyd’s health - have to re - prescribe it through hospital with long wait. It seems a 3,week stop is enough require this. My own fault I won’t do it again I should have ordered more anyway but did nothing as so ill

Trouble is after 4 weeks without any injection I am in full and hideous flare. The three drug combo isn’t ideal but it makes it possible to function and now I cannot do anything. Women on end of phone not interested

Lloyds used to deliver my Benepali too. I hope they don't take too long.

I have also left myself short on occasions. It's important to not stress over that now especially when you are in a flare.

Rest as much as possible and look after yourself. Meds will be back to normal soon.

I'm a bit wicked so I will carry on collecting the drugs as I like to have a few weeks in reserve....

I too always like to keep some in reserve....I once lost a biologic because there was a delay in delivery, and I became sensitized to it......had all the trauma of changing to another one.

So now better to be safe than sorry!!

Shouldn't they have delivered an 8 or 12 week supply from your healthcare at home type supplier to your home of your med to keep in the fridge etc? Sorry you are flaring and without the med. 😑
