All hail the Cabbage!
Morning
Yes I have heard of it being used for mastitis with good effect I understand.
No it doesn’t need cooking! and it has to be Savoy cabbage. Not any old spring greens!!
Hmmm I might try it!
Have tried it. When you pass it in cooking water it will be easier to wrap around the swollen joint. An old remedy, does have some effect😊Simba
That is very popular in the Middle East-they just run it under the hot tap to soften the leaves-I've seen it done but I don't know if it works as I didn't have RA at the time .
Guess you'd need a perfumed shower afterwards though otherwise you wouldn't be very popular in company!
Comfrey leaves work better! But do need slightly crushing to release their anti-inflammatory properties.
Saw this on tv a couple of years ago along with chilli plasters which did seem to work It was the Chinese Botanist i've got his book somewhere as it had a lot of interesting ideas. I'll find it.
And to think I was going to use my cabbage to make Ukrainian cabbage rolls. I guess the options are out there.
😂
I hate the taste of cabbage, but not enough to try it on my swollen, agonised ankle and foot! Thanks. I won’t eat it afterwards, promise 🤪
