NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 26th November 2018

Oldham NRAS Group

Meetings held at: Neon Hub, Holt Street, off Huddersfield Road, Greenacres, Oldham OL4 2DQ from 7:00pm - 8:30pm.

Tuesday 27th November - Christmas social - quiz night with potato pie or cheese and onion pie supper, followed by a Christmas raffle, all welcome! (Please note, there will be a small charge for food).

Greater Glasgow & Clyde NRAS Group

Next meeting: Thursday 29th November from 7:00pm-8:30pm at Community Room, Tesco Extra, Cobden Rd, St Rollox Business Park, Glasgow, G21 1YL.

End of year get together (no guest speaker this month). At our end of year get together we are meeting to chat about what people want and expect next year. You bring your ideas and we'll bring the coffee!

Isle of Wight NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings are held at Laidlaw Day Hospital, St Mary's Hospital Campus, Dodnor Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5TG on a Thursday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

Thursday 29th November - Christmas Party! Please bring a plate of nibbles, drinks will be provided.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!

Hi Kim

Do you know if there are ever any in NE Scotland? I attended a new patient support group for Glaucoma yesterday and it was very informative and great to actually talk face to face with other people going through the same things.

Hi there, the only NRAS Groups in Scotland are in Glasgow and Dundee at the moment, but there may be other independent groups that we aren't aware of. Perhaps try asking your rheumatology team to see if they are aware of any local groups? Best wishes, Kim.

Will do. thanks. Dundee is the closest but still a good hours drive away.
