Starting the above. What can I expect, and do I gain weight? I did on benepali but now lost that as not on any biologic at mo.

Gain weight? Why? I don't think so. As far I know it does not affect your metabolism that way. If it makes you more mobile, it should hep you control your weight, surely?

Been on it 10 years and never had a problem, I do have to watch what I eat anyway, as on low dose steroids and they make me feel hungry. But as with all meds it effects everyone differently. X

Ive only been on it for 6 months and think I’ve lost weight. I’m more active now so maybe that’s why.

Been on it since August and it's helped me get my life back ,with no side affects take alongside Methetrexate 20mgs I'm at gym most days go to body conditioning 2a week and swim and walk a lot, I was on Benepali before worked for about 3 months and then stopped working but Humira has been a wonder drug so far so good 👍

Thanks for that. Benepali stopped it really didn't start but good thing was I did not have any side effects other thank 7lbs in 10 months. Here's hoping.

Been on it appropriately 4 yrs if anything I’ve lost weight about 2st. I’m very active walking and swimming but seem to have a lot of muscle waste but that started before Humira.

Hope it suits you and you do well on it.

Hi there - I am on benepali and have put on tons of weight - can you let me know how this goes? am thinking of stopping my benepali as it's making me depressed (the weight gain)!
