Yes, just be a bit aware of the context of the research studies if you read articles. For example, sometimes they are reporting on small observational studies so the conclusions are not completely solid. On the other hand, reports of Cochrane studies are robust and good.

There were a couple of things that bothered me, especially the prognosis of death in 10 years! And yes, I did read the articles. Always thirsty for info on this.

Agree with HH but useful info on pred. The modified release (MR) vs immediate release (IR). Pred taken in the evening (MR) starts working at 2-3, same time as natural cortisone is lowest and starts increasing. This way you get the better benefit than from (IR). Less morning symptoms and side effects. I have tried to get hold of this MR pred that is sold in Europe under the name Lodotra, without success not in France and not in Spain, perhaps in UK?
