my arm is getting harder to move

Well, not a dr., as we all know, but I wld rest it.😊I very stupidly did not follow this advice last week, went swimming when they were just a bit stiff and had shoulder & arm flare, left then right. This week I will be practising pacing😀 hope it calms down soon; I mainly did hot bean bags, ice packs and serious drugs (I mean painkillers, just amusing myself there!). X

HAHAHA....The pain sure makes you wish you were doing serious drugs.....lol. I too just really mean ANYTHING prescribed that will make it stop............NOW!!!!
Absolutely, in between meds and forgotten what real flare felt like till then: horrible disease 😞
See your doctor...could be a trapped nerve in your neck.you should never ignore loss of power in a limb.
I go to an Oestopath for back, knee, neck pain etc. you must not rest it it'll get worse use heat the ice packs frozen peas are great just don't then eat them ! and keep it mobile with gentle movements. And is worth finding a good oestopath to ease it. Its so easy to think RA when it might simply be a pulled muscle or even a bit of tennis elbow etc.
Hi Veronica
I really suffer with my neck and shoulders and recently bought a heat pad from Lidl. It’s like a cape electric blanket. xx
Ooh I saw those, looked good 😊

It’s really helped while it’s on especially at night. As with all heat packs etc the benefit stops when you take it off xx
