Further on the Achilles and colonoscopy

So yesterday I had the Colonoscopy. All went well other than I could not stomach the drink stuff and was vomiting the whole time. That sucked!

Saw the podiatrist today. Finally. He actually casted my leg and foot for four weeks and said I’d need a boot after too and it would take 1-1 1/2 years for the Achilles tendinitis to fully heal. And I still have the other foot too. Thing is, I was so glad to have a solution that wasn’t another drug I actually burst into tears in the office. Grateful.

Regarding all the diet/herbal discussions, my thought is to be open and willing to try something different that could lessen my pain. I’ve been eating organic, and have tried some herbs that haven’t worked for me.

I love sweets and try to eat minimal but I’m far from perfect. I think everyone should do what works best for them. Your pain is not mine. We are all different and can embrace our differences.

Might take a long time, but if it works that will be so brilliant. Hope the boot is nice and comfortable.

Ooh achilles tendinitis is flipping painful! I had it both sides... Awful. Feel for you.

I do have it on both sides but he said he can only cast one at a time. I feel like 1/2 is better than nothing.
