should I take my methotrexate with 2 massive insect bites?

Hi all, went walking Monday in woodland and now have 2 almighty bites on the back of both legs which are a bit grumpy to say the least. I am wondering if I should leave my methotrexate off this week so these can settle down and then I can take antihistamine too. Also on benepali due Friday. I have always reacted to bites like this so that's normal but just wondering about immune system now needing to work a little harder!

my question is does anyone else have experience of this with bites and did you take your methotrexate or miss a dose?

Hi TPaine I would suggest you contact the specialist nurse or your GP before using other medication as Methotrexate stays in the body for some time. Hope it gets better soon x
