NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 16th July 2018
Swansea NRAS Group
Meetings are held at Sketty Parish Centre, De La Beche Road, Sketty, Swansea, SA2 9AR (on the corner with Gower Road - A4118) once every other month on a Monday.
16th July 7.30-9pm - 'Self Care Acupuncture' by Joanne Warring
3 Counties (Surrey/Hants/Berks) NRAS Group
This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
17th July - Guest speaker: RA Specialist Nurse (RA Awareness)
Torbay NRAS Group
This group hold their meetings at: Barton Baptist Church, Happaway Road, Barton, Torquay, TQ2 8HJ once every other month on a Tuesday from 7:00-9:00pm.
17th July - Guest Speaker: Shaun Gilbard, Rheumatology Podiatrist, Torbay Hospital will present: 'Kick off the Sunday Shoes!'
Heart of England (Solihull) NRAS Group
This NRAS group meets on a Wednesday once a month at Solihull Women’s Institute, 745 Warwick Road, Solihull, B91 3DG from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
18th July - Amanda Wood, Clinical Lead for Podiatric Rehabilitation, South Warwickshire Foundation Trust, will be
joining us to talk about feet. As usual this will be followed by a general social and catch up.
Blackpool NRAS Group
Blackpool and District NRAS Group (BADRAG) meet in the cafeteria at Clifton Hospital, Pershore Road, Lytham St. Annes, FY8 1PB from 7:00pm – 8:30pm on the third Thursday of alternate months.

East Dorset NRAS Group
The East Dorset group meet socially for coffee from 11am at Stewarts Garden Centre, Lyndhurst Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4SA and also Haskins Garden Centre, Longham, Ferndown, Dorset BH22 9DG. Next coffee morning: 19th July at Haskins Garden Centre, 11am.
North East (Newcastle) NRAS Group
The North East Group run quarterly educational meetings which are held in Function Room 137, Education Centre, Level 1, Freeman Hospital, High Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE7 7DN from 5.30pm-8.00pm.
19th July - You are invited to a talk by Consultant Rheumatologist Dr Arthur Pratt, PhD students Laura Ridgley and Gemma Vidal-Pedrola and post-doc researcher Lilian Nwosu who will present: 'Arthritis Research UK, Rheumatoid Arthritis Pathogenesis Centre of Excellence (RACE): 3 universities working together to discover why and how the body’s immune system attacks the joints'
Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group
The Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group are holding all future meetings in the outpatients waiting area at the Haywood Hospital, High Lane, Burslem, ST6 7AG on the third Thursday of every other month from 7:00-8:30pm.
19th July - Social meet with coffee and cake
Yeovil NRAS Group
This year all coffee meets will be held at Palmers Garden Centre Coffee Shop, Bernards Way, Bunford Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2FH from 10:30am-12:00pm. Next coffee morning: Thursday 19th July.
You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
