Prednisilone

I’ve just finished a 10 week course of prednisilone on Wednesday and today, Friday, I had trouble waking up and I feel absolutely exhausted, I don’t know if it is anything to do with the drug or something else. Has anyone else had this experience?

Yes I've been up and down on it a few weeks and yes I'm exhausted thought the weather not helping as it's so hot, but it's helping my joints until I can get back on some meds after infection , think you've just got to go with how you feel with RA and side affects of steroids feeling exhausted is better than all that pain and some days just rest no good trying to fight doubt we will win !!!!!😩

When you say you finished, did that include a taper (where you slowly reduce the daily intake)? Perhaps you’ve reduced too suddenly? Hopefully someone else might have a proper idea, all the best, cheers Deb

Yes did taper it off. Maybe it’s still a bit if shock to my body to be without it. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
