Has anyone had a bleeding stomach?

I have had black stools and painful tummy for a few weeks. Seeing the surgeon tomorrow. Anyone else had this problem.

I get bleeding, but mine is due to IBS and food related. Mine is usually red and from colon. I guess black blood could be due to anything including ulcer? Or Nsaid use?

Sorry A. I hope they'll be able to sort you, preferably not by surgery. Been at hospital today too, not me, h, yet another problem, yet another MRI! If we didn't have hospital & doctor appointments we'd have no social life!

Some of you know my unusual type of rheumatoid I grow lumps on my body which causes my body to inflame against them . I got one cut out of my stomach in July .. it's not healed due to my rheumy drugs and prednisolone. Having an endoscopy and to eat little and often. Thanks for all your replies xx xx

Good luck, allanah. I had mine the other week and it was fine, even without sedation, although they make you lie on your side and I dribbled in my hair! 😂
