Baffled by Blue toenail!!

Hi all,

Well I have a blue toe nail, just the one, the big one, no pain, its just blue.... Been like it for about a month... Mothers worried and said should go drs, I'm not as no pain... However thought I would see what you guys think... Any thoughts please... Thanks x

I'd phone your GP surgery...tell them about your toe & ask them to ask the practice nurse if she thinks it merits an appointment,

Nothing worse than pitching up & being told it's just a bruise, but if it's the dreaded lurgy you'll be (?) glad you called!

If you haven’t stub it or dropped something on it, I’d seek medical advice. Best be safe than sorry.

Hi Millysmum. Many years ago I had a toe nail like the one you have described. My G P said it was Rhino's Nail and another indicator that I had RA. The nail just came off and a normal one grew back. It never happened again. But check with your Dr.
