Just want to say, I am so grateful for the support on here. We are all empaths , something that is hard to find in other people who don't understand the way this disease presents itself. For many people it is easy to fall into isolation and become depressed when the outside world (especially friends/family/ co workers) make comments that don't relate to Rheumatoid Arthritis! I have heard the most ridiculous things and it's frustrating when I have tried to explain how the body feels with symptoms of RA and Fibromyalgia. Of course, the Internet provides that information too! It's needing highlighted more! Radio stations, TV - whatever. I don't think people intend to be ignorant but the word 'Arthritis' does weaken the true meaning of this chronic disease.
It's medicine on here! - emotionally
Hope everyone finds the appropriate medicine to alleviate the physical pains.
Take care

Sorry to hear this. It does help a little to know the symptoms and bad days we go through are understood by others on here. It would be very depressing otherwise. Before I came onto this site I was desperate in my needs to talk to someone who 'got' me! Even rheumys and gp's ( although sympathetic) can't truly understand how it feels. I do and so does most on here. Take some healing from that and be kind to yourself on days like this.
