Hello Nutty, if you have RA the fevers are "normal", for the condition. It is a severe inflammatory reaction in multiple sites in your body so it often involves sweats and fatigue. Your body thinks it has an infection but is attacking your joints not a virus! When I started, I poured sweat, plus was very tired . Think of it as flu without the virus!! I hope this helps you understand the way that you feel?
What you've described is exactly what I experience from time to time getting sweats for no reason now I know feel much better. I've often felt I had an infection but hadn't.
Exactly!! Was diagnosed with Seropositive October 2016 told them my symptoms and that it wasn't the menopause having had a "ablation surgery" menopause was brought on prematurely 16 years ago ! Remember them saying my immune system thinks my body is a foreign object , not able to take much in at that time - But now all makes sense.
Yes shirlz, I get this too. Bodily aches and pressure in the face. Feels like I'm about to come down with flu but there's no coughing, sore throat or nose blowing. Much sympathy x
It's common to get fevers and feel like you have the flu. Sorry ❤️ you should call your rheumatologist and tell them because your medication might not be working. Although if I am tired, stressed, don't get enough sleep, ect, I can get a fever.
Hi. I get this feeling but mine comes on in the afternoon and is usually gone when I wake up. I'm not diagnosed yet as all tests are coming back negative. I have pictures of swelling and redness, lifting fingers nails that could signify PSA instead but the despite all the the Rheumatologist has told me this unwell feeling isn't related. I'm confused as so many of you suffer with this in both RA and PSA.
