I’m in the worst pain ever my benepali didn’t fully work so I’m due to start abetecept the doctor changed this early February I’ve had no treatment for 3 weeks because the nurse twice forgot to order my new treatment and one time I had a bad chest infection I was on antibiotics I’ve learned from this that the benepali did help but not fully so it shows I need some sort of drugs as any one else experienced going without drugs for a few weeks and did they flare up, this is the worst it’s ever been I’m am destroyed. So low with it the pain the stiffness is just way of the scale. I’m close to losing my job as well in 4 more weeks I get finished I’m on a stage 3 there looking at changing my job from nursing to something less physical and demanding we shall see, no way I can go to work like this the shape I’m in. I’m just in a mess .

Hi Vonnie10 sorry to hear you are having a tough time just now, unfortunately I can’t offer any answers as I haven’t so far came off the meds, but I am also a nurse struggling with the demands of the job, You would think for such a “caring profession” the powers that be would be a bit more compassionate. My hands are failing me and with the increased paper work I can see it only being a matter of time before I too have to look at other options.

It’s horrible I had a meeting with HR all’s they offered me was a job swap I have to soo occy health first. I loved my job but I cannot do it right now my hands feet and knees are destroyed with inflammation stiffness and pain.im worried sick about financial things I can’t be a burden on my family .im at a loss like you over the job situation good luck hope your ok and your team mates support you.
