Suffering with terrible pains down the back of my legs right down to my ankles when I walk only as soon as I rest they disappear does anyone have these symptoms

Yes I did when my knees and tendons were really inflamed. Even hurt to touch backs of legs. Seems to have worn off a bit with methotrexate...though some issues remain.

Are your knees sore?

Thank u for your comment no my knees don’t hurt just pains feels like I have climbed a mountain

As Nettac says it could be tendon related, or even one of your meds if you've started a new one recently or increased an established one. I had leg problems on leflunomide, never had any before apart from a ruptured Achilles' tendon a year before my RD diagnosis. Maybe worth a mention at your next Rheumy appointment, it might be something your Rheumy will recognise straight away or if not arrange testing for you.

Sorry your having bad time.my legs always feel like I’ve walked for miles even thou if I’ve not moved or so heavy for my body but my knees are my main problem x
