My partner has a curling little finger and cannot straighten it and is in pain with it. He swears that there is something living in it???

A delusional condition? Well, perhaps, if he really thinks something is living in it. It doesn't seem very likely from the description. But he needs a proper diagnosis of what the orthopaedic experts think it is.

Hi kazzaboo - Actually Morgellon's is not a condition with anything living in the tissue. It is an odd case of something like plastic fibers that work their way out of the skin (probably by the same mechanism that our body uses to expel a splinter - they would feel about the same to our bodies..). Unfortunately, Morgellon's fibers are a lot longer, and in my research they don't seem to have figured out what causes it (pretty much like most of the diseases that we all have, huh?)

If he feels like something is moving around his tissue, I would get him to a doc as soon as possible. It is not as likely these days with what amounts to cleaner livestock (well, some of it is anyway) and not eating raw meat or fish, but even if there is nothing there, something seems to be going on. Let us know I would be interested in what the doc says.
