I have taken Arava after an hour, I feel my mouth and lip dry and my body is warm like I have fever. What does this mean? Did any of you felt the same.
Thanks my friends!

Is this the first time you have taken it? I think some people do get mild allergic reactions at the start, but which wear off quickly. If it persists talk to your doctor.
I have been on Leflunomide (Arava) for about 3 months now. I too get a dry mouth and feeling hot in my body, like you. The hot feeling is new to me, but the dry mouth I have had for almost the whole time I have been on Arava. My dentist has noticed deterioration in the state of my teeth because of the dry mouth and has prescribed a special toothpaste to try and stop the decay. It might be worth you keeping an eye on your dental health if your dry mouth problem persists. My dry mouth is worse at night - I have to keep water beside my bed so I can wet my mouth but I also use a 'Dry Mouth Spray' from Boots chemist, and before I go to sleep I use a Vaseline lip salve just inside my lips to stop them from sticking to my teeth in the night, otherwise I get a sore mouth. I hope this helps, but more than that I hope the Arava is working well for you, despite the unwanted side effects.
I've been taking it for over 3 years and a dry mouth can be caused by the RA not just the medication LEF. I'd suggest you ask the GP for Glandosane spray its great. But LEF takes some 12-14 weeks to work so my feeling is its unlikely to be the culprit for you and this might be a bug too. I'd suggest a phone call to RA nurse or a visit to the GP in case its the start of a nasty infection.
