Hiya & welcome Anahi. We're very happy to have you here though sorry you've been diagnosed, especially with such a young baby who looks gorgeous by the way, that's a lovely pic!

If there's anything in particular we can help you with just ask. It's great that your husband is a good support to you but nobody except someone else with the disease truly understands how it can be for us if not all of the time then some of it. Being such a new mum must be difficult, dealing with a new diagnosis & trying to get your head round that plus waiting for your treatment to be effective, all must cause you distress at a time when you should be enjoying life. I'd concentrate on your meds initially, you need to be brought under control if you're to be the mum you'd hope you'd be before diagnosis, enjoying your son & being a normal & happy family unit. Your Rheumy will guide you with treatment & any support you need we'll be here. We do have other new mums who are members so hopefully if they see your post they'll be along to share hints & tips of being a young mum with RD.

I don't know if you've had a look through the NRAS website but it might help if you haven't nras.uk.org

Welcome welcome welcome!!! You have an adorable little baby and a wonderful husband to help you. Soon you will have the right meds to live your life to the fullest & you will be OK.

One good thing about this site is that there are many members from all over this world....so when it's late at night & your family is sleeping and you are feeling scared or sad, there is always someone awake for you to talk to.

Take care

Sue
