I was just wondering if it was normal to get red itchy lumps at the injection site of methotrexate.
The thing is, they don't come up straight away, I do my injection on Saturday on alternate legs, by the time I do my injection on the alternate leg the Saturday after, I have a red, itchy lump on the other leg from last week.
I have no idea if this is normal or if this is something to be concerned about
TIA x

It's not sometimes though, it's every single time I inject. So should I just take a antihistamine every time? Or mention it to my rheumy that I'm reacting every time I inject?
I have had this problem with small lump and itching after having blood work done. Figured it was something to do with the needle, but not sure if it is. Never got worse, so I don't worry about it anymore. Hope this helps.
