I went to see my excellent rheumy last week and on telling him I was having trouble with my feet he said that I had slipped pads. He is referring me to a podiatrist. He also took me off hydro as my eyesore not good and suggested I go on abatacept. Two questions, has anyone had slipped pads and what was the treatment? And if I can get abatacept how long do I have to wait?? Xx

If this is the same as losing the pad of something under the forefoot, then yes, mine is turning over too so surgery is scheduled to put it right next month. Will be short-term pain and inconvenience for long-term gain as it hurts. I've had Nurmon'a removed twice and they'll do that gain too. I've seen podiatrist and have had an orthopedic insert as always the same foot but now it's beyond that type of help.

Mine is all the pads over the toe joints on the sole. When joints pressed they really hurt, but when he pulled the toes back and pressed I wasn't in any pain. Thanks for your reply I hope I don't have to have surgery. Xx
