I had 3 in two weeks ! 3x120 and and they did work so a few days that's all, but sometimes they just don't work although I've no idea why.

Hi .injections should start working later tonight or tomorrow after next week will kick in.you dont usually get a lot of injections usually a gap .do do a lot of paceing and don't over do it for injections to kick in good luck

They have always worked well for me. Once or twice I've had a bit of sleepless night after as they make me a bit hyper, but that goes. Biggest problem is that you can suddenly feel normal again and start rushing round and overdoing it. Take it easy.....

I was told should be once every 3 months and no more than 500mg in a year. I have 110 mg left until end of January 2018

I guess it depends on what doseage I'm being given but not actually sure x

Hi, just wondering what is inflammatory arthritis?

I have RA and Crohns - my RA is controlled by Enbrel. However the Crohns itself can cause three different types of arthritis In about 30% of patients and I am one of the unlucky ones who have developed a secondary form arthritis from the Crohns.

Is inflamatory arthritis an arthritis without the joint/bone erosion damage? Can I ask what your symptoms are?

My grastroentrologist and my Rheumatologist are trying to figure this out, right now I have no answers. I'm going to Gastro doctor today to discuss and set up Remicade infusions.

My understanding from my Gastroenterologist and Rheumatologist is that arthritis that develops from Crohn's is "Enteropathic Arthritis". It affects the sacroiliac joint mainly as well as the large joints - knees, wrists, ankles. Mine is particularly bad in my shoulders bizarrely. My Rheumatologist records it as inflammatory arthritis because that makes it easier to jump through the NICE hoops for biologics. On terms of the types again, my understanding is there are two- that which flares simultaneously with Crohn's flares and a second where they flare independently. I have the latter. Nice to meet you fellow sufferers 😊

Only ever had one within a three month period in my derrière! They work instantly for me and as I'm walking out of the hospital I can feel it working its magic. For me the general ones last for about a month. The ones in the joints give me relief the next day and also to my general well being for 5-7 months. Very few noticeable side effects for me. Hot face and feeling euphoric the main ones.

No side effects apart from blushed face cheeks. And a minor temperature for a couple of days but then fine.
