Hi. I was just wondering if anyone had the experience of humira working for several years before it just stopped. Then trying it again at a later date and have it work again.

Didn't do it with humira but did with enbrel and Remicade. The second time with Remicade worked For a while. With enbrel it did not. I also was on Rituxan and then moved to actemra and had real problems with Rituxan. Now I am back to Rituxan and doing pretty well.

Thanks for your input. I'm on orencia right now, still waiting for it to kick in. If it doesn't, my doctor wants me to try something else. I was on humira for fourteen years before it stopped working. I miss it, and wish to try it again. My doctor doesn't want me to bc chances are it won't work. I know he's probably right. That's why I was asking for others experience with it.

Sounds like you need to try something else. When I went back on Enbrel I went into a flare and I know that is what you don't want to do. Fortunately we have a lot of options these day. Good luck..

Sadly Humira did zero for me and the hospital kept me on it a lot longer than they should as I was part of a survey. I sustained a lot of joint damage whilst on it as nothing was protecting my active flares. I hope it works great for you as I know it does for many I've met. x
