i forgot to mention that i was also diagnosed with fifths disease (human parvo virus) at the same time of my RA diagnosis. my rheumatologist said that the parvo virus can mimic RA and that it would last up to 9 months. he tells me now (a yr and a half later) that the parvo is probably gone and it is now all RA. i have read that some people with 5ths disease have chronic symptoms for years. any RA victims out there with parvo virus also?
